Hy everybody,
About a month ago my car started mysteriously stalling at idle randomly. It usual happens at busy intersections which sucks for me headbang . Anyways i got it towed to a shop and they ran for codes and drove it around but couldnt find anything wrong with it. It was reccommened to me that i change the IAC but it didnt work. I can sometimes get her started when it stalls but a couple of times i couldnt, and had to get it towed home. The frustrating thing is that an hour later the car will start fine. Any help will be appreciated im really stuck in a jam here.

My guess would be the crank position sensor. wink

Give us some history on the car. Like 60k service, water pump changes, etc.

Same thing was happening to me. It turned out that it was the fuel pump. The funny thing is that it would only do it when it was warmer than 80 degrees outside. It did finally die completly one day. Replaced the pump, and no more stalling. Is your pump making any "whinning" noises?

Hey Drew,

Next time it starts acting up, look to see if your Tach is OK, or dead.

Stalling/No Tach, OK an hour later = bad CPS.
