yes your right, and I really want to buy another SHO, preferably a Gen 1, best a 91+. I just care the body is decent, I don't like body work much, no rust... straight hanging bumpers; small dings or such aren't THAT big of a deal. I really only have 2500 or so to work with at the moment and need another car quickly, my car is my life lol. I feel like my girlfriend just died or such. I can work on mechanical problems easily, engines aren't my specialty but I could get it done. I have a nice interior in my 91, man it was real nice
I am going to keep all of that from my old car, F the man... atleast my car is at my shop right now and not stuck somewhere at a lot. I might have a good fight with insurance as usual so I plan on having the car a good month or two longer before its gone.
Man I actually had some tears when this happened, I don't know if its all about the good times we had together or the future to come, I was actually planning to never ever sell this car and keep it forever.
So I'm on the hunt for a SHO, im going to stick with the taurus, it just has a special place with me. They can be a pain to work on, but so are a lot of other cars, its not like it is impossible to work on them.
yes the Bull took a hit, man when I really think about what happened hours later that was a very very hard hit. I was doing a good 40-50 in actuality and stopped dead in my tracks. Im so lucky I had my seatbelt on, because I normally don't ride with it.... however now I will. I am a real tough guy, I can't believe how hard I hit that seatbelt.. Always strap your seatbelt below your stomach on your lap and pull it tight there to hold you in. I hear a dead stop from 30mph can **** you, I did a dead stop from a good 40, so you could almost say Im lucky to be alive, that truck absorbed a lot of my energy too so that helped tremendously. I hit that truck so hard it flipped right over onto its roof. I never was phased or blacked out at all through the entire event.. a second after the hit I had my seatbelt off, key off, and was out the door. I was so ****** at that guy but he just landed on his roof so I didn't beat the living **** out of him, I actually asked if he was ok and someone else came up to help him... then I whent and beat the **** out of a big metal electrical box or something haha.
~Salute~ to the Taurus and its safety, fun, and one of a kind vibe. There are those who get it and those who don't, the ones who get it have one **** of a time with these cars.
