Im thinking of just picking up my 92 from where its at and daily drivering it because gas costs way too much to drive the regal. If the rack did come off of the subframe how would i fix this? Would there be any other explaination of why the steering feels like there is absolutely no way to turn it? I get maybe a 1/4 of a turn each way before i have to force it really hard and it seems like something is rubbing under there.

*Edit* Car's only got 106k
Thanks in Advance
Chris

You'd better get under there and inspect the suspension. It might be the subframe has dropped due to failure of the mounting bolts or bushings.

If the subframe is still attached correctly, it likely needs a new rack.

It is extremely unlikely that the rack has separated from the subframe.
