my 3rd gear grinds

my 3rd gear grinds only when down shifting or shifting from 2nd at high rpm's what is that i know i can replace something but i dont know what and every other gear is fine the clutch is new and its really ****** me off i can drive it hard i have to power shift or just skip 3rd gear and go from 2nd to 4th. any help would be great thanks

Sounds like a blocking ring considering that the clutch fully disengages. Some people have luck by throwing in synchromesh fluid. Might be an option besides taking down the tranny to replace a part less than $20.

thanks thats what thought but i didnt know the name of the part i know it wasnt my syncros because its only that one gear but thanks ill try the fluid first but might just replace the part thanks again
