have a 92 sho, the arm where the throw out bearing attaches there was a pin in there holding it... it's sheered off, what can I use and should I just drill it out?
Ya its not really required for anything once the tranny is installed. Its just there so the TOB doesn't fall off during installation. You can use a very small cable tie or even a piece of string to do the same job.
if that's the case... what does the arm do? if it's not attached to the throw out bearing in anyway?
I mean that would just leave the throwout bearing to sit there and the arm to do just move without it?
I'll look at it again but doesn't seem like it can push it if it's not even attached to it.... but if I recall on the factory one it was just a black plastic piece, but it looks like it's metal broke off inside the arm
I just had to look at it sorry I didn't see how that could push it in, but after looking again I understand.... and the tranny is in now.... lined up great
