Well, im looking at buying a parts SHO and have a few questions. its an 89 thats just had the transmission rebuilt by a shop, and a new clutch put in. Im just wondering if the tranny will fit in my '93. And also with the clutch, i read that the discs were smaller in the '89s but was curious if it would still fit in my car, b/c i need a clutch fast (dont really have the money now, but if i can get this car for a decent price i'll take out a loan or something, lol). Thanks for your help.

The 89's came with a 9.25" diameter clutch, flywheel, and pressure plate like ISHODU says below. If they have not upgraded, you would need to upgrade to the 9.75" diameter. I believe they only sell 9.75" clutches now though...so just a bigger flywheel.

I believe that is all it is. I think some 90's came with the smaller clutch also...

It will fit just fine. All you will need to do is remove the cable shifter brackets. Most 89s would have been upgraded by now to the 9.75" clutch. If its a sheet metal pressure plate its the small one and if its a heavy cast one it will be a the 9.75" one.
