MTX Hard to get in gear

unless you take apart your trans and break it lol.
and then buy a replacement one... put it in, seal your trans...

and realize that it fell out somehow...

What fluid are you using? I used Mobile 1 synthetic ATF for a while and it never shifted very well. I switched to a full fill of Pennzoil Synchromesh and now it shifts amazingly smooth.


I dont recall exactly what type of ATF I put in. I believe its "the other guys" transmission fluid, no name stuff. However I did add Lucas ATF Fluid Conditioner

Don't think that Lucas will do anything for you...and reading on their site, I don't think it will do anything for anyone.

Ha yea prob not...I couldnt verify if it helped or not. I had some extra in the shop so I tried it. They prob just spice up the label, mark up the price and make it sound like its gonna rebuild your trans while its in there.
