Mtx crank pulley threads

Trying to pull my crank pulley. What threads are in the two small pulling holes? How long bolt do you recommend?

Do you have a harmonic balancer puller kit? Those usually come with several different sized bolt diameters and one usually works. If one of those is too short you can take it to a hardware store and get ones that a longer. I don't remember the exact size.

I have a craftsman harmonic balancer puller kit. It's old and most of the bolts are buggered up.

I used a tap die set to find correct threads. 8mm-1.25 went in without any metal shavings.

My puller kit didn't include that anyway. The tensioners bolts are the same thread, so i used the two middle-length bolts.

very good. I knew there were bolts on the car that fit but I couldn't remember which ones

The timing cover bolts are the same thread to get the crank sprocket off.
