Youre certainly NOT stupid, I just always wanted to use that smiley Every manual transmission car I'ver ever driven I have used the shift at 3k theory for the most part.

I haven't driven my SHO in a long time, but if you're following the chart from the manual, it is under 3,000 rpm and every gear shifts sooner and sooner.

3rd - 27mph ~ 2850 to 1850
4th - 35mph ~ 2400 to 1800
5th - 44mph ~ 2250 to 1650
