Motorized antenna

Have a 95, and the antenna is motorized, it will not go up or down, it is stuck half way. The motor makes noise when the radio is turned on or off. If I turn off the radio and push it down at the same time the motor will catch it and pull it down and then put it back up but it will then get stuck half way up. I pulled the mast out and took a look at the ****** with the plastic teeth, no teeth are missing or chipped, but their seems to be a lot of resistance to move the antenna manually when I had it out (extend or shorten) do I need a new mast or more than that?

You need a new mast. You can get one for under $40 at Ford Parts Network.
