I went out to the Motor Sports Ranch yesterday info seeking and found out how it works.
1. Is a club tour. This is $40. a head with a minim of 10, they give us a tour of the ranch, then we get on the track for a few pace laps to see how it feels to be on a road course.
2. Is a club day. This is $95 a head with a minim of 20 but no more than 32. This package is, 1st we take a safety class then onto the track for a bunch of brisk pace laps, then back to the classroom for some more instruction. Next we get back on the track for some more faster pace laps, then the group is broken down into 2 groups fast cars and faster cars. Next we get two open secessions that last for the rest of the day, one secession with each group.
3. We can have a race day. This gets real complicated. But we would have to buy an insurance policy for all of us for the day and there is a minim of 20. The insurance is $1200. Plus the cars have to be inspected and tuned before getting on the track.
All these require helmets which they can provide for $10.
