There are no rubber hoses from the water pump, only the lower radiator hose to the pump suction. You can see the top clamp on the hose looking under the plastic fender liner so you should be able to tell if the hose is the source of the leak. The outlet passages from the water pump have O-ring seals - one to the block and one to the metal tube that passes to the driver side of the engine through the valley. Chances are that it is the shaft seal, but that is a large amount of leakage to be the shaft seal.
I recommend going with a rebuilt Motorcraft pump that includes the front case half with new seals, bearings and gasket for less than $70 with a lifetime warranty. I have bought them through O'Reilly Auto Parts, but I'm sure a store local to you will carry the A1 Cardone brand or equivalent.
