I just replaced the switch on my moonroof. I had to manualy close it now when closing it stops about a 1/4 the way back, then you have to push the button again. Then when you try to close it goes right past close to the pop up position. It seems like the moter and the moonroof are out if cinck. Any help would be appriciated.

I have the exact same problem with mine........have looked at the assembly and haven't figured out what keeps them in sinc other than the orange gear that has a flat spot on it in a couple of places that stops the power to the motor. Anybody ever had this happen or no of a fix?? Thanks.

If you removed the motor from the gear, it may have gone on wrong. This happened to me when I was doing the 1 touch up / down module, and I just had to play with it a bit, taking it off and putting it back on lined up on different teeth until I got it right.

But then again, if you didn't mess with the motor itself, no reason why it would be doing that, but this technique would probably fix it anyway.
