I agree with Bob, air flow is critical, but I don't think it is as important on the lower grill on a car that isn't being used in racing, but I'm still thinking I like just having the ACC side covered.

I would PM Darreli regarding this as he is installing a new radiator in his (larger capacity). Rick @ Livernois could also comment, as they have a SHO test vehicle.
My EB Flex has no cooling issues as I have a custom and very open grill compared to stock & a 170 deg. T-stat, but my tuner, Torrie McPhail indicates that the SHO's he has dealt with, including his own, had cooling issues when pushed hard.
I believe that most of the cooling air on these cars, including on the stock EB Flex enters through the lower opening. But... perhaps the MobSteel grille by its open design, may solve these issues by the. volume of air going in the top opening......

Will the metallac ie; metal flake paint ( Candy Apple , etc.) interfer with the ACC if its painted ?
