i have a 93 sho mtx. it runs fine when i accelerate smothly but once in a while when i floor it, it feels like only half the cylinders are workin until the secondaries open. At high revs its fine. I already changed the spark plugs and there was a lot of oil in the plug wells but it didnt change anything. Any ideas?

That leaves the plug wires as the next likely cause. A misfire without a tell tale CHECK ENGINE light pointing to another cause is usually caused by malfunctioning plugs or plug wires. Have you checked the codes?

I had the same problem and put new plugs in .... no change. Replaced wires...no change. Turns out one of the plugs ...NEW from the store...was crap. Someone dropped it thats for sure and it wasnt me.
