Ok, it hasn't been extremely cold or anything lately. But the past few days it seems that when I take off. The car is running rough until it warms up. Like one of the cyls is partially dead or dead. But when it gets back up to temp its running normal again. I haven't had time to check into it too much lately, been having to drive it too much. Plus my other car is down till I get the trans put back together (hopefully soon). So I need to try to get this figured out soon cause I"m sure its hurting my gas mileage. Any ideas?

Let it warm up for a couple of minutes until the stumble goes away?

heh, I know. I can remember that clearly.

Sounds kind of like the same thing, people just want to start the car and drive off immediately like they would do in the summer. Hopefully they realize that by driving off without any warm up time at all leads to severe engine wear because oil is not yet circulating throughout the engine...

oh I was letting it warm up whenever I had the chance. But even then it was still doing it till the temp was in the normal range. I noticed it went away after I had filled the tank and used up the first quarter tank (how much gas was in it from last time) or so and now its running normal again. So I'm wondering if it was some bad gas.

Could have been some moisture in the gas. If you are in an area where premium gas does not have ethanol in it, try a 1/2 tank or so of mid-grade a time or two so you get some alcohol in there to absorb any moisture in the system. Also would be good to change the fuel filter.

oh I've been running mid grade anyways, although the last gas I had put in it might of been premium. So I really think that was the problem.

A spark misfire without a CHECK ENGINE light or other codes is usually caused by the spark plugs or plug wires.
