Last outing ran a 13.1 hope to see some better times got a few different tynes to try. Does the car have to relearn each time you load a new tune?

Yes it does. Look for the Inspection Readiness section in the owner's manual to give you an idea of the drive cycle needed for that to happen.

So do I have to unplug the ground for 15 minutes go threw the cycle each time I retune?

If you go through the drive cycle, you do not need to unplug the ground. If you want, you can do that as an additional step to ensure that a KAM reset happens, not a bad idea.

Your tuning device may be able to reset the KAM. Alternatively, you can use this procedure

Well any help would be GREAT!! another day at the track got 2 passes in both 12.8 1.8 60 ft.

What am I doing wrong ive contacted Livernois about the mods I have on the car and see almost everyone with the same mods 12.5 or under ive been told practice im not new to the drag strip cut good lights no tire spin today there was no tire hop like the first time to the track.

Im on LMS race tune with a E30 mix LMS catless DP 3 bar map LMS thermostat
new royal dif and PTU fluids new plugs gapped .030

Livernois has been great with their customer service and responding with in a decent time. But with that said when every car you see runs better times than you, last time to the track I lined up with a fusion tune only he ran a 13.1

LME does not tune for ethanol on the SHO, so I dunno how an E30 tune would help you. You might even be killing performance not having the volume capacity needed to achieve the power needed. Just thinking off the top of my head. They know their fuels and I am sure their tune came with a fuel requirement. Did they give you an octane number to meet?

If you want to run E30, you should be using a tuner that will tune for E30.

Ive talked to them about the mix and seen some on a few of the boards using it with their race tune. It calls for 100 octane the mix im using is 96 octane. I should have looked into it a little more before buying the tuner from Livernois now knowing they only provide canned tunes. Really am thinking of switching over to Unleashed since their cars seem to be putting down better numbers. 12.8 is a far difference to a 12.2 and I was told might be driver mod by one of their sales men. 1.8 60 ft a .05 light no tire spin no tire hop and the cars best is a 12.8

Do you not have access to unleaded race gas at the track? That would be the first thing to try. Second to that, and not LME approved of course, is a product called Race Gas Concentrate. At least one SHO has had success using it to boost the octane. Not sure how much boost the RGC provides though, may be worth a call.

It does contain MMT (as does Torco, the other popular octane booster), so I cannot recommend it for regular use, only at the track. It is likely to foul the spark plugs over time.

If you can get VRP 100 racing fuel, LME approves that, I am pretty sure.
