In my business, and in dealing with the artist for the SHO magazine, I have to send some things overnight. After Fed Ex failed to delivery FOUR packages in a row within their time frame I quit using them.

Every time, they blamed me for not getting it to them on time, but every time I had a receipt from the shipping center that they got it within the time frame posted on the centers wall or on a web site. No refund, no appology, just an damn expensive 2 and in one case THREE day delivery at overnight cost.

I shredded every bit of Fed Ex info I had and tossed a large batch of supplies and boxes. Never will darken their doorstep again. I use the US Post Office for everything I can, Priority Mail has been VERY dependable for me, and their overnight service at least refunds when they misfire. As for UPS, I use them when required, and have been about 80% happy with their service, but it is the cost that I don't like. DRL? They have almost no presence in my area and rates are the same or more than UPS.

I'm not sure what you expect us to do short of crediting your card as I said we would. We are obviously not to blame for this and have gone out of our way to correct a problem that was not ours to begin with. I'm sorry Fedex *****'d the zip code. Anything beyond that, however, has me losing my patience quickly. We've come too far to rip someone off on a $60.00 transmission cooler.

Im coming to Mikes defense here. I ordered a set of plug wires back around 11/27 or so. They were shipped from his supplier in Anaheim i think cuz he was out of stock of them and did this to get them to me faster. :shrug: Well they were supposed to be delivered on the Dec 21, then the 24, and then again the next week.

During this whole time, Mike was in contact with FedEx just as much as i was if not more. I was very patient with the whole situation and very much appreciated all of Mikes efforts. I knew it wasn't his fault AT ALL. I FINALLY received my wires sometime in mid Feb.

My point is, from my experiences with Mike and ones of heard of from others with the W-Body Store, he would not try to intentionally screw you. It seems like he'll do everything in his power to help.

Having spent thousands of dollars, I too am very happy with all the transactions I had with MIDWEST SHO and look forward to future transactions. That is if new items are added because I have reached the end of my wish list unless something new is added. :)

Mikes hands are tied and like he said bound by the suppliers and shippers.. I to have issues just like this and it drives me nuts. Hang in there, Mike will Im sure take care of this.

I just got off the phone with Cindy and Charlotte with Fed Ex. They have a trace agent who has the package, the zip code was correct when they read it back to me, but they indicate that home delivery (ground service) does not work on Mondays so the trailer has not left with the package yet. They will be following up on this tomorrow morning and calling us. :)
