I've so far ordered only once from them, so I won't give a thumbs up.
I will say this, since I placed my order,in June, I have yet to recieve all my parts. Specifically my intake.
Additionally, my e-mails have gone unanswered.
As far as first inpressions go, it doesn't look good.
I'm just telling it exactly as it is.

Seth,

I apologize if any emails have gone unanswered. Looking through Outlook I can't find anything unanswered from you, but if I did miss something, you have my apologies.

Everyone that ordered an intake received an email from me Thursday afternoon updating them on the delivery date, first week of December, and offering a refund to those that didn't want to wait. Apparently, I missed your name when I sent the email, but hopefully another member that ordered the intake will chime in just to confirm that the email was indeed sent.

I think you can at least admit that all of your other parts were shipped in a timely manner.

Trust me, I look forward to getting these intakes shipped and out of the way as much as you are looking forward to receiving it.

Best Regards,

Mike

I've never had any trouble at all... shrug 2 different orders, both times they went through perfectly. I would never hesitate to order through Midwest SHO.

Mike-

For the sake of everyone that bought an intake from you and have not received it yet, please test fit it and make sure it actually fits before sending it after the months of waiting. Also, where is my trans mount you promised me months ago?

That was the first intake, one that was dropped about 8 months ago. The new ones have no issues with fitment.

Email me about the trans mount. If I owe you one and you don't have it, I'll take care of it, but I won't address it on the forum.

You guys will not meet a person more committed to his customers... sometimes there are truly valid reasons behind the scenes and just because Mike went from answering emails in 2 hours to now 24, give the guy a break! His products are still top notch and customer service even better. I have dealt with him more times than I care to admit to support my SHO addiction, and not once been disappointed. When Mike says he is still the same ole' guy, believe it. If unhappy, email him thumb

I had a bit of an issue where I didnt recieve a product for some time. But I emailed Mike who looked into it for me to find that it was stuck at the border for a few weeks when his supplier shipped it. He made sure he got it straightened out and had the product rushed to me. Got them just as he said I would and the product was top notch.

It's easy to lose track of an item - especially if you sell aot and are busy and use mulitple contacts. Its even harder to track down old shipments and make sure they get to their destination!

When I emailed mike about this I got responses fast, seemed like he was working 24 hours....

If you have a problem email him, he will take care of it. Products as well as service are great!

Give them a chance to fix this. Email probably would have been better then posting on here... give them a chance to fix it first, if they dont then let others know...

midwest sho = thumb in my books.

lol... Miiiiiiikkkkeeeeeyyyyy

Thanks for the kind words guys. It's much appreciated. If I did miss an email from Seth, he has every right to post here, as it would seem to be his only recourse.

I'm sure we'll get it resolved and he'll be able to post an end to this story.

For anyone making assumptions, I saved all the emails, sent and recieved. Even for the cell calls, before posting on the forum. madflame

Seth, it doesn't matter what assumptions people make, because it has no affect on the outcome. No one thinks you're wrong for posting here. If I missed one of your emails and you thought I was ignoring you, this forum would appear to be your last recourse. I don't blame you and I don't think anyone else does either.

I've been having a lot of problems with a spam block with Roadrunner. A guy on the V8SHO list started asking people about me because all his emails were going unanswered. Well, I looked in my history and saw that they were indeed all answered, but all bounced back. I can't see anything from you that is returned, but I'll send you a test email and see what happens.

As long as posts stay mature I encourage this type of post. It shows everyone here that sometimes shit happens. As long as it gets resolved is the main thing and it appears to me that Mikey is doing an upstanding job of trying to rectify the situation.

thumb to Seth for having his say in a mature way, and to Mikey for trying to fix the problem.

I've always had good service with Mike also. Even an order that wasn't perfect was responded to very quickly to rectify it. I have also had a few emails unanswered by Mike. I know he had some server problems along with other email flukes. Stuff happens, but Mike is trustworthy in my experience.

Another thumb for Mikey...

My order had me frustrated, however, it was due to special order parts. Basicaly I just had no idea they would take so long to get in and it was really out of Mikey's hands to my understanding.

Once I get my baby back on the road (can't wait) I'll post with details of my experience with Mikey along with a few others. And of course my review on the parts... =)

Gotta admit, though, it's nice to have this section of the forum... how else would a vendor know emails weren't going through? :)

I too can say that at one time I thought I had a bad experience with Mike and Midwest SHO, however since that time, looooong ago, Mike has more than made up for a little mistake on a stereo that I bought from him. He has been and seems to always be VERY helpful. He has advised me on parts and other things that I didn't even purchase from him. Give him time. I'm sure that patientce sometimes is not the easiest thing to have, but Mike will make it right. You don't stay in business and have the kind of great following that Mike and Midwest SHO have without having supurb employees and a supurb business.

Eh, never had a problem with ol mikey. He has always been great to me, and I've been talking to him since the begining when we were talking about implementing php. I've order many things from him since and received good advice from him.

I think he would have gotten it all straight in the end.
