I wanted to put up a quick install on a Snow Methanol injection kit. Will do a better write up later when I have time to clean up the car and get some better pics.
Time to Install : 4.5 hours
Extra parts needed : Vacuum Line, Vacuum T, Wire, Small hose clamps, Split Loom, Small amount of steel
Tools : Basic hand tools and wrenches, NTP Tap is about the only thing you might not have laying around
Tunner : You will need a person to tune your new install, I use Torrie from Unleashed

Install ability : I believe that anyone with time and some medium wrenching skills could tackle this install

You can have your tuner set up how and when you want it to inject. First, I wouldn't let anyone tune my SHO but Unleashed or LMS ( really they are the best and I like them both, well maybe I'm a little biased to Unleashed due to Torrie and his response times ). Second, no I am not worried and I carry another tune to change it to if for some reason something happened ! I am happy with the performance. I would just make sure you cross your T's and dot those I's when doing the install. I think that most people get in a hurry and that's where mistakes happen. If anyone needs help on the install I could walk you through it, I was accually very surprised how easy it really was.

I didn't want to make people think it was to hard so I didn't include that I added a splitter valve from my washer tank to fill my meth tank if I ever ran low. If your interested in doing that then I can send you pics. The washer tank holds about 1.5 gallons. I used the factory washer motor and added a second level switch to the top of the small tank and a LED switch that turns red so I know to turn off the fill. The only reason I even did this was I thought it would be fun, I honestly don't think I will ever need it! I was in it all night and I would guess I only used about a 1/8 of the small tank.

I just installed snow performance stage 3 meth kit. The car teleports.... methanol ft win... I used factory reservoir so I would keep the factory level sensor. Made a custom mount for the pump to mount below the reservoir but not washed from road debris.

I mix mine 50 50 and after driving hard about 5 hard balls out runs I don't think I used 1/4 tank of meth..

I use 99.9% pure methyl hydrate from a department store add 900ml of it into an empty washer jug top up with -40 washer fluid to the brim then pour into my car reservoir.

Very cheap to run and the car pulls like a bee stung Clydesdale! I never ran methanol in any car before, but this stuff is voodoo magic, witchcraft stuff!

My snow performance safe injection kit is in the mail to eliminate free flow leaks or lake of fluid causing potentially engine failure.

Tuned by Torrie as well.

LOL, I am also having fun with it! If the rain would stop here I could see what she will do. Doesn't look like its going to happen this week.

Car runs incredible, low 12's! Down pipes should be in Monday! Interested to see if I will see the 11 number! Here is for hoping! And just to let everyone know, Torrie from unleashed is a very determined person! I bet I have sent him 50 logs! Every time I get a new tune it's just a bit faster!

11's have proven quite elusive for the platform overall. Only 5 (2010+ Ecoboost) owners to date have crossed that barrier.

But hopeful to see if you'll be the 6th.

Good luck!

I know, its like this drug! First you just want 12's, then low 12's and now I am saying I want 11's! I am not sure what I will do if I don't get there. Either way it will be a bit now since my wife decided to wreck into both my car and the boat last night. Going to be a long weekend at my house. $1800 to my SHO, $2200 to her explorer sport and I'm sure the boat will be the most expensive. I actually feel bad for her, she came in crying saying she was in a hurry and backed into the front of my car that I just got done washing, got upset and jumped out of her car to look and didn't get the car put in in park, it the rolled into the boat. I might have made it worse when I said, just get back in your car and ram our replica 1967 GT500 " its the only thing you didn't seem to hit". Life goes on, dropped mine off already to get fixed. Anyone know a good marriage counselor, lol.
