Water/Meth injection - boost line and fitting

I have a question for those running water/methanol injection.

I installed the AEM v3 kit today. It was a fairly straightforward installation process except for trying to find the right location and fitting sizes to tap into the boost reference for the controller.

A few YouTube videos and guides suggest to tap into the 3/8” hose near the firewall on the right hand side of the engine.

Others suggest that it’s better to tap into that same hose but closer to the intake manifold on the left hand side of the engine because of a check valve.

Question 1: Does it make any difference where I tap into boost?

Question 2: Does anyone have a part number for the T-fitting I’ll need. It seems like a 3/8” to 1/8” (boost hose to controller) to 3/8” but I can’t seem to find that size fitting anywhere.

When I ran AEM I tapped mined as pictured with no issues. You can get the fittings and everything at any Autozone type place.

For clarification, the line isn’t connected anymore, I’m holding it showing we’re my T-fitting went.
