Having all the stuff I have on the car 3 bar plugs thermo catted downpipes 93oct tune intake.....meth is prolly the next step tho.....can you think of anything else after all that stuff other than meth? Is their a stronger tune or I have it?

The only other option is to do a turbo upgrade. You can do either or without building a new shortblock, but not both.

We do have to tune for methanol.

Pros and cons for both? Being a tech I should know more about this stuff but I have never built a forced induction car and most of the cars I've built have been old Chevelles , camaros things like that. The newest car I've built was a 94 camaro. I work for enterprise, Alamo , national car rental so all the stuff I work on is brand new cars and obviously no performance stuff. I've been researching stuff so I can put a list together for what I want to do with my recently aquired 2010 SHO.

They are both stop gap mods...do they add power, definitely. But the stock fueling limits the aftermarket turbo and the stock turbo limits the aftermarket fueling. Catch 22! Both add performance, but both are limited in what they can do safely. The real boost in power is when you combine them. Caveat there is that you are now limited by the stock block. SO, now that all of you are pouring tears all over your keyboards...we do offer a fully built Extreme Series Shortblock!

Read about it here.

Unfortunately true! Though you do now have a stronger foundation with the built block, so longevity fears with elevated power levels are alleviated.

The car's pwner* is a local guy that purchases M1 from us on a very regular basis...no need to check my source, as the source is the client whom owns the car. Thank you though :)

Fortunately there is a small list of cars in the 11's so they are pretty easy to keep track of. All of them other than myself have UPGRADED wheels in the stock housings or ATP turbo's. May want to check that build sheet again.

Speaking of there being a small amount of EB's in the 11's......

I'm still waiting on my time slip & video from this past Fall CAD.

***sigh***

Maybe it will arrive when the new website does?

Good to see that you know our entire client base John :thumb:

We have far more than our fair share of claims to fame to need to fabricate that. I do not know of him being on the forums, nor did he allow us to publicise his car. But, many that have been on a tour here since I have worked here will probably remember the all black WR holder being up on a lift right next to a ruby red 14 SHO.

Hey what ever will help you sell, right? Claim away.

Guess I'll call my car the first ""stock turbo" sho that has any documentation, any proof, any time slip and NOT the car of any conversation that didn't happen in a super tight community that no ones has known about but was achieved a year and a half ago".

**** of a long name... Hey, would you think that name would fit on your list if I put on a livernois windshield banner (being the only livernois part on the car)?

Let me know. I'll send you my information....privately of course.
