Your right, looking up past post is the right (and direct) thing to do. There are tons of posts explaining how it works, the equipment you need, the mods required, and the benefits.

Many customers use 1-2 gallons of E85 to offset the poor fuel quality we are facing in today's market. Perfect normal and sustainable, just keep an eye on your fuel trims and fuel rail (or rear) pressure if you are tuned.

If you want to run E30 get a test tube and test the E content once a month. Then do a calculation based off your local E rating for that gas station when you fill up. They can be expensive but you get an ethanol content sensor -this is probably the best option overall. They tap into your fuel system and give you the ethanol content for your car in real time. If your going to run an e tune regularly I’d highly suggest one.

I don’t have an e85 station in my state. I bought VP X85 and then later tried VP C85. I bought a VP 5 gallon fuel container and would fill up with 93, I forget what it was to make E30 in 5 gallons, maybe 3 gallons of 93? Anyway, then I would add in the race E85 and that was my premix. For a daily this would be extremely annoying, but it was fine for me at the time. I got a test tube and every time it was more like E40 or slightly higher. Never had a problem with it. I bought an ethanol sensor but I’m not sure I’m going to use E85 anymore. Considering changing to MS109. No mixing. Supposed to be the same power. Since I have to buy my E85, might as well just buy MS019 instead. I can start tuning with just 93. Add in 100% meth. Tune with 93 and meth. Then change over to MS109 and meth. This probably isn’t very helpful information. Lol

I can vouch for MS109, my car loved it. You don’t have to mix ms109 because it’s 100 octane on its own. I tried some earlier in the spring when the local E85 started getting inconsistent. I just ran my tank low and dumped the 5 gallons in, drove a few miles and watched the E sensor drop to e15, sent it with 0 kr.

As long as you run a mixture of distilled water and meth the AEM system is fine. It doesn’t hold up to straight meth, which they advertise.

Yea man ive been on e30 for a few months. And i use the calculator and all but ive noticed inconsistent power and all but i dont have an E sensor. I can feel it. Thinking of just getting a 93 octane update. What sucks is my car wont idle with my old 93 octane tune because of the custom cams. Also it wont even stay running with stock tune.
All about having fun lol, I definitely feel more with e30 but i may just run meth and 93 plus boostane on the street
