My MDesign CAI is for sale!!! (newest version with the larger filter and 3m Heat Shield). I love this CAI but I have a local speed shop here that's building a heavily custom-made intake for me. Mine only has about 200 miles on it - contact me if you're interested.

Making a fairly large intake box and a significantly large tube from box into engine. More importantly they're running multiple air inlet tubes into the box.

That sounds pricey. Seperate inlets to turbos right

My friend actually owns the shop and I've referred a lot of business his way so it's all free! Plus he wants to get ahead of the game in our market working on forced induction vehicles. I'm not 100% sure of the overall design but he's works on high-end sports cars and also traditional muscle cars with excellent results - so I trust whatever design he comes up with.

Same day at dragway testing...

Windstorm (modded) 12.42
MDesign 12.43
Stock with K&N drop in 12.44

If you're buying one, it's for looks and sound.

Pretty much what I would expect to see. No matter what craziness you try its still not going to jam in more air than the turbos are sucking in. If it could, you wouldn't need them :)

An interesting side note is that many of the MDesign users have noted significantly less soot on the vehicle's tailpipes over time. Can be done with a little extra ethanol in the gas tank, and methanol injection as well.
