Hey everyone. :)

Now that the Banks iDash has been out for a little while, I'm wondering if anyone has any manifold air density numbers, for any level of modifications for the SHO.

I'm really wanting to get one and I think it'd be nice to see how my current MAD compares to a stock MAD. Or at least some other level of mods...

Anyone running this little gem?

Thanks! And stay safe!

Should be able to.

Haha, I use a small tablet and torque pro as a custom gauge setup and never thought to make this custom gauge, despite me always being curious about the value. If I can get it setup, I can do some comparisons before I finish this Aquamist install. Arghhh, I just got really excited to try this, but the xsport is getting some work done for the next 2 weeks or so and I don't have it at the house....dammit, LOL. I also data log with SCT, so if you figure that part out, let us know! Thanks!

Should be as simple as applying ideal gas law to MAP and IAT2, or maybe even easier to just multiply air density at STP by engine load. But given that load already accounts for density, and that the ecu is always targeting the same loads, I don't see any value to it as it provides no new information really. Am I missing something?

It's the same data we already utilize just presented in a different format.

I think it's really beneficial for cars with aftermarket FI that dont have the sensors we have, but it's fairly redundant information for us.

If you log Ambient Air Temp, Ambient Pressure, MAP and IAT2 you can calculate it with LiveLink or VCM Scanner as a custom parameter.

Here's how to do it in HPTuners.

I am going to try to replicate it in in SCT later tonight and I'll post my findings.

That would be awesome! I'm really looking forward to what you come up with. Not familiar enough with LiveLink to know (just yet) how to add a calculated field. But I'm game for poking the bear...
