Would it be better if i put the MAF before the blower if i run the blower RIGHT next to the intake?

Ideally, yes, especially if you're utilizing a draw-through MAF (like the newer 80mm and 90mm Lightning MAFs) that may not take kindly to being placed after the blower in an otherwise blow-through configuration.MYSHO1 said:Would it be better if i put the MAF before the blower if i run the blower RIGHT next to the intake?

I assume the blower in question will be driven by an FPS-style jackshaft?
Chris has just brought out an important point which I neglected to address in my original reply, and that is to make sure that you utilize the appropriate MAF type (draw-through or blow-through) for your particular setup. Failure to heed this warning - say, by utilizing a draw-through MAF in a post-blower, blow-through configuration - could result in difficult tunability and other driveability problems.Mr Anonymous said:FWIW, SCT makes two 90mm MAFs that can be used in either a blow-through or suck-through configuration. They have a OBD2 style connector like the Lightning MAFs, but nothing a pigtail harness won't fix.
The 1453RWHP Ford GT TT runs an SCT BA-2800 MAF in blow-through with no *******.
