mach audio upgrade

what does every 1 use to hook up a amp and sub to the factory mach audio? i have a 97 so it has no 6x9 sub in the middle of the rear deck. looking for a decent upgrade ... ideas welcome please.

You just use a line output converter. You get a high level audio signal from the rear speakers and the LOC converts it to low level RCA's. There are many more threads about this that go into more detail.

You also run wires to the trunk for the amp's power, and splice into the power antenna wiring for a turn on wire for the amp.

you cant use the rear speakers for the 96 JBL audio cars. you have to tap into the subwooker speaker wires to get a signal. and then its pretty well chopped up. i hate it.

does anyone know if i can put the mach stereo unit in my 96 and make it work?

would it plug in?
