loud buzzing over 4 grand

i have a 89 3.0l and flowmaster 40 and custum y-pipe since i got the y its been buzzing at wot took it back to the guy and no leeks i also have a 4'' flex instead of that donut do any of u have this problem? if any of u have read the other posts i have the problem with that was the dis and the cps 520 later its all good again

Is it a catless y-pipe? If so, its the rasp combined with the flowmaster 40 series mufflers.

When cold, my magnaflows give some rasp. Once they warm up tho, it's a nice sound .

no its got one magnaflow cat on it its not bad just kinda anoying lol

Check for loose bolts or washers at the Y-pipe.

ya i cant its welded from front to back i got rid of all bolts less hassel

Check if the cat is still in one piece inside.

Welcome to "Raspville".

Nothing's loose or broken, it's just that your new system isn't properly designed to suppress the obnoxious rasp that these engines produce.

Adding an intermediate muffler, for example, a cherry bomb at the front end of the cat-back pipe, will often control the rasp.
