Losing all power

When I accelerate hard, the check engine light flashes and I lose all power from the engine but it stays on. Not coils or plugs. When read with the scan tool it says cylinder 1 3 5 misfire, just one side of the engine. It also shudders when I press on the gas when power is gone.

Check the wires to where the ignition harness is Sounds like they are grounding out under load.

i assume you have a 17 ...

this issue was commonly caused on 2010-12 mys due to a leaky valve cover gasket. something else to check.
