Hi,

My 2015 SHO is new to me. There are four minor things I can't resolve. Minor.

1) When I set the clock to use GPS, it's an hour early. I'm Eastern Time, GMT-5 (with daylight savings adjustments). My radar detector reports the direct time using GPS. How do I get the SHO to? (MyFord Touch/Sync2 is all up-to-date).

2) In reading the owner's manual, I see you can pair a key to seat and steering wheel position. I can't figure out how to make this feature work, so that when I get in, the seat and steering wheel move to my settings.

3) Is the front cigarette lighter socket always on regardless of vehicle ignition? How about the one in the arm-rest?

4) I have keyless ignition. How do I turn on electrics (accessory position if there was a key) without turning on the engine?

Any help with these is appreciated.

Cheers,

Sean

I can't answer 1 and 2, I have a 2010 MKS EcoBoost but 3, yes and yes, and 4 push the button in and hold it for a couple of seconds and the car should be in accessory mode. On but not started.

1. Try a master reset of the My Touch/Sync 2 system. It is in the settings.

2. I have never tried this before. Do you still have a owners manual. I have a setting for my seat position on the side of the seat. I put the seat into position, and I hold the button for 3 to 5 seconds with the vehicle running and in park.

3. Yes and Yes.

4. Foot off the brake, press the ignition button and release.

In the digital screen left of the speedo, theres a MyKey setting tab where you can mess around with customizing a lot of features paired to that specific key. If the car is off, foot off brake, press the ignition once for accessories, hold it for a second for power.

As everyone stated, key on engine off is pressing start/stop button without the brake pedal

I would try a SYNC master reset and maybe even a battery disconect and see if the clock works. Maybe turn on and off daylight savings, or just turn on g.p.s. time and time zone and add your own adjustment.

All power points are hot all the time. Keep in mind what you plug in.

Owner manual v2 page 59 (you can download a p.d.f. version from Fords website so you can search key words.

Memory Feature (If Equipped) This feature allows you to recall the driver seat, power mirrors and adjustable pedals (if equipped) memory positions. Press the unlock button on the remote control or activate intelligent access (if equipped) to recall memory. The mirrors and pedals (if equipped) will move to the memory position and the seat and steering column (if equipped) will move to the easy entry position, if you have enabled the easy entry feature. The seat and steering column will move to the driving position when you switch the keyless ignition on or put the key in the ignition.

(Didnt copy and paste enough)

1. Turn the ignition on. 2. Move the memory features to the desired positions using the associated controls, located on the side seat panels. 3. Press and hold button 1 for five seconds. A tone will sound in about two seconds. Continue to hold until you hear a second tone. 4. Within three seconds press the lock button on the remote control. 5. Repeat this procedure for memory button 2 and another transmitter if desired.

You can also associate a keyless entry keypad to a memory position.
