Had a lot of fun discovering this place. From reading about tuners to watching folks break each other's records and just waiting until I broke warranty mileage to have more fun myself. (GH AO tune was a great first step for my 2019)

Just wanted to thank my SHO, **** of a car and I'll miss it. T-Boned at 50-55 by an impaired driver, somehow no major injuries other than 20 minute entrapment. Welcome any suggestions on a new car. :D Thinking maybe an Explorer ST... if I can find one.

Meh, nothing a little tactically placed duct tape, and a few rattle cans of spray paint can't fix.

S.hit, there would be some here, that would be envious of all of the WR you just newly discovered too!

Ha!

All jokes aside, glad to see the engineer's work at occupant protection and keeping the cabin intact, proved useful in this event.

If you can't source the Exploder you're desiring, could always puruse through the used car ads for another SHO.

Good luck and glad you made it out safely.

Glad you're safe, heck of a way to get flow through ventilation. Yeah there's lots of choices with the EcoBoost engines. Fusion Sport, MXZ, Lincoln MKS, Lincoln MKT, Ford Flex and of course the Explorer to choose from.

Glad it kept you safe!

I had two different sho's for almost 7 years and moved to the ST. I absolutely love it and do not miss the sho at all. The market is pretty funny right now, but if you have time to shop for a deal you can find them every now and again for not crazy prices. They hold up extremely well in crashes too just like the sho.

Sorry for your loss. My SHO replacement is currently a choice between a '17 MB SL63AMG and a new Mustang Mach-E Performance Edition. The Mustang is the most sensible choice, but the SL has been a dream for years. YOLO.

Sorry to see that, but the car did its job for sure. Glad you're ok, and that it hit the passenger side.

As for a replacement. I have a 2019 S550 Mustang GT PP, A10 and love it. Lots of them out there for sure. Or go import, bought an Audi Q7 for my GF and it's great. Performance, prestige and safety all in one. Plus, there are different levels of for them. Anything with an S in front IE SQ7, is already pretty potent and tuners are readily available. Good luck with the search.

Will you regret the purchase you didn't make? I would buy the Merc now and enjoy it, because EV's are here to stay and you can always get one later down the road. The Bi Turbo V8's are being phased out, jump while you still have the chance.

This has been my thinking. Looked at some EVs, but I'll regret not having a gas powered to play with down the road. More and more EVs coming up.
