Ok, this happened a while ago, so the 92 has been sitting till I had time to look at it.

One day while I was putting a new trans into my 91 I had to go to napa to pick up some parts (motor mount and some other stuff). I come back to drop off the parts and realised I had a few wrong parts so I was gonna go exchange them. So I fire up the 92 and start slipping out the clutch to take off. As soon as I start moving the car starts bucking badly (it had bad struts so that magnifies the bucking). The whole car was bouncing up and down. The rpms were going from 1500, 0, 1500, 0, 1500, 0. The whole time it was doing this I was riding the clutch a little, but it all happened so fast I didn't even know what was going on. All the dummy lights that come on when you turn the car to accesries were coming on everytime it hit 0rpms (maybe it wasn't exactly 0 could have been 100rpms). Then it just died, my dad came walking out with the look on his face like "can you not drive". I was just staring in disbelief because I knew something was wrong, just my luck.

So sure enough I try to fire it up and NOTHING. Not even an attempt? We pop the hood and try again, my dad watches the belts, they turn maybe 1/2 an inch if that then stop. So I put a wrench on the crank and try and turn it, and I can't  I'm really doubting it's the starter being locked up. I was thinking maybe a broken timing belt, because I didn't hear any noises that sounded like a timing chain. Checked last night nope, timing belt is fine  Now I'm thinking I need a new motor. The car had been running fine, it did burn oil, I thought it was bad valve seals, but I don't know what that'd have to do with the engine instantly stopping..... Any guesses?

Sounds like that motor is toast. Find a cheap 3.0L and swap it in there.

:help: Yeah except for the fact that I have 4 cars and only 1 runs my 91, which it barely runs some vac leak somewhere, thats why that was gonna be my winter project for a 3.2L, koni's and tons of goodies :D I had a winter beater all ready a 1988 Chevy Celebrity with a 2.8L, but that just stopped getting fuel, some injector issue, but no codes show on that :madflame: And I owe my dad money, and I have a gi-normous speeding ticket from out of state almost $500 (fines out of state are doubled). And I have college and 2 jobs, I been getting rides from my mom and the way it seems, thats gonna be happening for a long time  Also theres only 1 SHO in a junkyard around here, I doubt it even runs so the motor would have to be shipped in :****: I love life, when the glass is half empty look at it as half full.... oh wait theres nothing good happening to me right now :bonk:

I am officaly starting a Donate to Josh fund
