The PCM is located behind the glove compartment on top of the A/C housing. To pull the codes you access the data link connector attached to the plastic fire wall cover passenger side in the engine compartment. You can run the test with as little as a paper clip, pen/pencil and paper or a Scan tool.
Use the search function and you will find several other post regarding the pulling of codes with links to help out. To many guys/gals would save themselves and everyone else alot of time if they would just USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION.
I am quite familiar with pulling the codes from this car...lol.
thanks for the directions though.
I have had a couple of running posts on this problem.
Basically I had a fine running 3.2L wiht 188K miles until I put it in storage for 3 months.
Fuel management issues since the first time it started out of storage.
Codes keep chaging so I keep checking and replacing parts as needed.
New Bosch 02's
New OEM fuel pump and filter
New (used) MAF
New TPS
New ECT sensor
Cleaned EGR and intake
New top 1/2 gaskets and plug well seals
Checked for and did not find any leaks... vacume or fluid.
I still am getting both lean and rich codes from the HEGO right and left banks.
And the CEL comes on only during cruise 60-75mph.
Never during accel.
The car starts fine but when cold will idle higher 1000-1100rpm (normal) then suddenly die as if you turned off the key. But it will start up immediately and will not do that again until the next cold start.
I am thinking I may have a faulty PCM.
