When I had my car in for a non-functional seat massager I inquired about the PTU service. They do change the PTU fluid and quoted $296 to do it on my car. Seems a little bit high to me but I didn't for details of what they do. If they just suck and refill, it seems high. If they suck and refill and drive and then repeat it might be more reasonable. Anyway, at least I have a dealer that understands that the PTU is NOT lifetime fill.

I wish they could install a drain plug as part of the initial service. That could really help on maintenance.

My dealership charged about what you were quoted....around 300. They drained, re-filled, drained, refilled etc. I think they did it 3 times according to the invoice.

That looks to about be standard dealer shop pricing for this service from what I have been reading over the last few years.
