The 1-2 shift is a completely different issue, that is either the tires spinning or you need to add some fluid and turn tc off, the 1-2 shift is well known and that is just how the car responds to certain situations its put underI've had this issue 2 times on the 1-2 shift, both were recently after uploading the tune and have done WOT pulls since without issue. At the time I thought it was the car learning the tune again.
Yes as said here anyone with an issue needs to contact us through pm or over the phone my name is cody and ill help get this done asap for anyone who needs it just prvoide us with the following:
-First and last name
-serial number of the device (located on the box or the back of the device)
-explaining your exact problem and what gear is having the issue
No luck on the latest tune update. I drove for probably 25 miles or so semi aggressively. The shuddering and tach fluttering seemed to be fixed, and it seemed to shift consistently a little over 6k RPM, but I tried a WOT downshift in drive to pass, and it went into neutral I think. It went past 6700 RPM with the tach turning red, and it really was bouncing off the rev limiter hard this time. The whole car shook when I let off and it finally went back in gear. It was making all kinds of nasty noises. Maybe solenoids chattering? Scared the sh*t out of me. I thought the transmission let go.
I’ve put it back to stock in a parking lot, and it’s driving fine now, so I don’t think any permanent damage is done. I think I’m gonna leave it stock. I don’t want to destroy my car by further experimenting. From reading other threads, it seems this slipping out of gear behavior has happened to others too. There must be some difference in a small number of SHOs that makes them not happy on the LMS v11 tune. I will say that LMS is trying to figure it out. I wish I was closer to them so they could see it in person.
By the way, I found out what it does when you go back to stock and leave the 3 bar installed. The instrument cluster lights up like a Christmas tree with errors and it will barely idle. Took me a minute to figure out I had forgot to change it. Lol

You are turning mid-12's with the AJPT and have no issues????
Thanks

Datalogging makes sense, and I may have to go that route. Isn't making a video of a dashboard less professional than datalogging? I originally added my input to enforce Omahan's lms vds gearhead thread, and discovered I'm not the only one with v11 issues. I hope Livernois can get my car back to v10 reliability. If not, I will go elsewhere. This is funny....
You hammer LMS because they use customer input to adjust tunes...
What do you think AJPTURBO is gonna do? Just a quick reality check for you... you will need to datalog your tune from him to make sure it’s all good. Datalogging involves recording your cars data while you do a full wide open throttle run through the first three gears.
Then Brad will take this data to verify everything is working correctly and make adjustments as needed.
This is standard operating procedure for any tuner using the SCT platform.

This speaks to me! I just lost 40 lbs. this year and am down to 205. HMMM maybe I will be in the 12's, but I digress..I already changed the plugs less than 1000 miles ago when the trouble started. I have a 3 bar installed, but I have a question. Datalogging will be my next step if Livernois can't fix my issue. From here I will read your link because I do not know what e30 is.Yes I have a AJPTurbo tune and a UPR catch can. The catch can is really easy to install and there are many videos that can show how to install the can the proper way. Also if you purchase one I can help with the install as well.
Yes I run mid 12's (12.50's) at full weight and I weight 250 lbs. Pretty sure I can get it into the 12.30's next track session in January. I use Brad's E30 tune. I have gone through about 5 revisions just on the E30 tune. I have a lot of tunes by Brad. I have a stock 3 bar, a 91 3 bar, and mild to wild E30 tunes. My SHO isn't my daily so I have zero problem beating on her. She is actually down getting a transmission upgrade as we speak.
Here is a good thread and I have lengthy explaination on why I use E30. You can also learn about some stuff on the fuel systems on the SHO's. My response is #46. You will see alot of crossover between members here and there.

I use the SCT LiveWire. It hold 10 tunes, I see what parameters I want in real time, I can set alarms, and I can data log. SBS is correct. You will have to buy a SCT device (either a X4 or a LiveWire). Brad is a dealer for the device. You will need plugs, and 3 bar MAP (in most cases) and at least a K&N drop in. You will need to data log. Brad likes a couple of logs. TC off, standing stop, 1st through 3rd gear full throttle pull. Then a 3rd gear 20-30 mph pull all the way to red line.
Here is my personal thread about the adventures of me and my SHO. I am still chasing a couple of goals.

I read through the ecoboost forum, and am keeping AJPTurbo with the SCT tuner in my back pocket for next steps, if needed. I could not find anything in google for AJPTurbo except a Japanese car website with the same name. Do you have a link? Nothing about SHO's.Yes I have a AJPTurbo tune and a UPR catch can. Now that I learned E30 is a fuel, I'm wondering if it is purchased right from the pump like E85. All help appreciated.
