Livernois Performance Packages

I didn't notice this particular question after doing a quick search. For anyone that has had any of the packages installed by Livernois, how long was your car in their care? Just curious as to the downtime I'd have to schedule for.

Yeah...and just search this site for anything Livernois related. You'll find TONS of posts about them and why you should avoid them.

if you do GH, Ortiz, or AJP you can get plugs, T stat, 3 bar map and tune and do the install yourself with very minimal wrenching skills. or have a local shop do this. It took me 30 min to do it all. I did get the livewire TS+ as this will flash the ecm way faster then the x4 and give you the gauge options for viewing if you like. As said above skip the lms if you can. I have dyno sheets for lms and ajp on the same bolt on's and just the change of the tuner I picked up 50 more WHP. look at everyone's sign line.........

There's tons of options out there...all over the forum. Just do a decent search and you'll find the answer you're looking for.

I used Livernois multiple times when I had my 01 Lightning back in the early 2000's and also once on my 2019 Taurus a couple of years ago.

My only "gripe" with Livernois, is that I could never get a "firm" date as to when they would complete the work. For example, they'd tell me to bring it in on Monday, as they planned on working on it on Tuesday, and I should be able to pick it up on Thursday; but that never worked out that way for me. It would always be a week or so later.

I'd strongly vote going with Gearhead personally. Other than that pretty much anyone over Livernoise, to include letting your local Jensen Tire tune the car.

I had Gearhead install there power pack and tune to my SHO. Only driven it for less than a week and so far I like the way my car drives now.

AJP Turbo just tuned mine last week. I installed the thermostat, plugs, 3bar, meth kit myself. Couldn't be happier.

You can get a better tune for the same price from other places. I purchased a tune from livernois not too long ago. It seemed to be decent without any comparison but trust me the others are better. I switched to gearhead and I wish I had gone with them straight off the hop. I dont think lms is the best **** for your buck... Actually i know they aren't.

I would think the popular ones are probably Unleashed and Gear head

I grudge and money race a lot and have ran into some REAL quick ford fusions that Unleashed has done. Those are good for sucking the money right out of little kids with moo stangs

Bought parts with good support from GHT

Good friend is another 777 captain and he swears Torrie isn't real. Claims you can send him/it a pic of a girl in a *************** and Torrie/him/it would probably send you a tune for it. Ive seen him get revisions at 0100 on a Tuesday morning...!!

In short I really dont think there are many "BAD" ones.

Torrie used to sell oem Ford parts online way back before Ford made a stink about it to many sellers. His service back then was second to none. Same. Replies at 2am. Really attentive to customers.
