Livernois I need help

Sorry if this is not the place to post this and please move it if it is not.

I just installed the Livernois Stage 2 tune but I have a major issue. After installing it my engine shuts off when I put it into drive either in automatic or in manual mode. I'm sure I've done something wrong but I don't know what, I need some help.

I agree, are you sure that you had the car in the on position without the engine running?

To put it in on you fully start the car then turn off then press power without pressing the break right

Ok I think by re installing the stock settings I fixed the problem. Trying the Stage 3 tune to see if it is doing the same thing as stage 2

No to turn it on, you push the start button and hold for 3 seconds (until the gauges sweep) WITHOUT your foot on the brake pedal.

well it looks like I need to get in touch with Livernois. Switching back to stock settings fixed the problem.

Is it strange that I actually like Livernois more because I've had this problem? Rick has been amazing I haven't seen customer service like this in a very long time. I am currently installing the tune now I'll let you know how it turns out.

I'm glad you like it! No problem. :thankyou: It's really amazing the difference the tune makes in these cars. When local customers come in not knowing whether or not they want to tune theirs, all I have to do is take them for a ride and they're sold.

One last comment on Livernois. Normally after I make a large purchase (like the tunes and tuner) I almost always suffer from buyers remorse. it happened after I ordered the tune....that was until I installed and drove the car. It was (without doubt) one of the best purchases I've made. I am so happy that I made the purchase, that I have put the Livernois Motorsport decals on my SHO and I am very proud to display them. Thanks again to Rick and the guys at Livernois. BTW, I will purchase again from Livernois without hesitation. I am 110% pro-Livernois!:thankyou:

AH! The seeds have been planted again. Another satisified owner with a tune. Next will be the Corsa Exhaust. Mine's still tied up with UPS as they have tried delivery when no one has been home. Will get it delivered Monday as I'll be sure an be home.

Have you figured out why after I install my tune my oil change indicator comes on and when I go to reset, it will not let me reset to 100%.

Go back to stock and it is fine.

All of the tunes are basically the same and I haven't had anyone else experience this. I can talk to our tuner Dan when he gets back from Qatar tomorrow to see if he has an idea. I thought that was part of the BCM, which the tune doesn't affect.

I think it was my car Rick was talking about. Happened in December, when everyone there was out on vacation or out of the country. It was remedied quickly with the new files. (Sorry for the late reply, just got registered).
