Hey Guys,

2015 SHO with PP/ 14k miles
Technically still under 5 year warranty.
I completed the Engine Noise maker delete and the Catch Can install.

Now moving towards the Hurricane Bundle :
3Bar MAP Sensor, 160 Thermostat, Windstorm Cold Air Intake and The Livernois Tune.

Any advice on the bundle or the install?
What part of this upgrade would be a warranty violation?
I was looking for a Red filter?

Thanks

And do some reseach about Livernois. There are numerous threads on this site about the disappointment and disapproval of LMS tunes over the past year. There are better tuners, tuning devices, and cheaper upgrades then what LMS bundles.

Like SM105k said, do yourself a favor and read the threads about LMS in the gen4 performance upgrades section and decide for yourself. I will just say I have personal experience in this area, and leave it at that. If I were you, though, I’d save a bunch of money and skip the cold air intake, grab a 160 or 170 degree t-stat and a used SCT X4, and go directly to the Gearhead auto octane tune. You will LOVE how your SHO drives. I miss mine every day since I had to sell her to fund the new truck.

Any tune risks your warranty. Anybody who says otherwise is lying to you. As long as you put your car back to stock before taking it to the dealer and you don’t show up with holes in the pistons or something, the risk is pretty minimal they’ll dig that deep, though.
