I recently moved from Cali where it was ultra tough finding 93 octane, so i was restricted to running the Livernois stage 4, 91 octane tune. I now live in Texas where 93 octane is available....my question is this, is the 93 tune going to be a noticable difference over the 91 ?
I would need to get the codes loaded from Livernois, but really dont feel like going through the trouble if i wont notice a difference ?
I already have the 3-bar and 160 installed, so just need to load the 93 tune.

Or since Ive been running the 91 tune for a couple of years now, have they developed the next, latest and greatest next level up from the 93 ?

thanks,

I run the 91 v11 tune during the winter months and when i switch back to the 93 v11 i notice a difference.. I had thought about doing a comparison down the 1/4 mile to actually see the time slip.. I would get the tune and load it up!!

My DD tune is the stage 4+X 93 tune. It's noticable over the other two 93 tunes and more so over the 91 tunes. Request this tune and don't look back.

The cool feature is the "Hill Decent" mode they include with that tune when you drop the shifter to M mode. Essentially a "sport" mode as it holds revs longer and locks out overdrive. Shifts on its own until you tap a paddle and then you're back to full manual mode.

It's worth the effort. Do it and report back!
