Line lock or Roll control

I'm wondering if anyone is using this. This is my first factory turbo vehicle. I've built many old chevys using this. Just wondering if everyone is 2 footing it. This car isn't a daily and plan on doing alot of spectator drag racing with it.

Gotta be careful building too much boost off the line with this platform, torque mananagement is pretty critical.

Btw, here's another technique thats proven to lower 60' times. Still working issues with the rich condition it creates though...

I’ve been thinking about doing this to prevent brake boost roll out. Traditionally this would lock and unlock one pair of brakes? Lock the non drive wheel to do a burn out? So then would two line locks work better for us? Can two be used? Bc then you could mash the brake to set pressure, press and hold the line lock button, let off the brake and give it gas. No more two footn it. This is more realistic than getting a trans brake for this platform…..so line lock as a trans brake alternative. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

But the two step wot box would work better, provide anti lag ….if only the pig rich condition is addressed.

I was thinking of adding it to the front brakes. That's where the torque travels first. While still launching at 2000. It would be more consistent.
I don’t see what it could hurt giving this a try. I say go for it and let us know how it goes. If it works well I’ll definitely want to follow in your foot steps.

I have been kicking around the idea of a line lock or something also. As far as 2 footing it goes that’s what most of us do. It would be nice to launch at @2k rpms every time!

Well I can't speak to how the brake pressure sensor works in the traction control system. The actual brake pedal switch seems to have some effect on the traction control system. I was having problems with wheel spin. Which I've since corrected by taking out Slack in the actual brake pedal mechanism. It was bouncing at the end of the stroke on release. This was confusing the traction control system into thinking I was applying the brakes after releasing them.
Perhaps, wiring the solenoid into the brake pedal system with a diode, might alleviate the rich condition. The diode is to prevent activation of the line lock when using the brakes normally . The wire to the brake light system is to convince the traction control system that the brake is still applied. At the very least I suspect it will get the traction control system into action more quickly. After all it does take time for the brake pedal to return to the resting position when you release the brakes. Weird I know. Just something I've tripped across this year.
