Light up Fender badge

Today I started a new project converting new SHO Fender badge with led light. Doing mine a little different than some of the others you read on this forum.
Got the new Fender badges today took them apart painted the black Part White and a chrome will be stripped and painted black and to actually the LED through S H O letters I will be filling in each letter with acrylic poxy. Then wind ride in about 24 to 48 hours I will turn it over sand the top part of the letters until the plastic is gone and the epoxy appears. Then build a box for Led to shine through the letters.
So this is what I done so far.

Today's update sanded the face of the letters down to the acrylic come out exactly how I expected pretty good

Exactly what i did hardest part is getting the letters sanded down

Okay today I tried something different I think it might work after sanding down the top for the letters so that acrylic come through for the light. I wanted to letters to be rounded on top like a professional job so I mixed up a little bit of acrylic and dabbed it on top of the letter so it has a a bubble affect to it tell me what you think

There's no silver it's clear acrylic it just looks that way cuz it's wet

The lights came in today not sure if you want to use them I reordered a different set and will see in a few weeks. They look nice but it's going to be difficult to set up the lights on the fender badges itself. Not having a light hanging inside the fender well is not my style. The new ones are flat and flexible and should hang on the badges better.
here's a few pics of what I look now.
One is daytime driving lighs and the other is turning signal.

If you send me your badges Fender badges I could probably do it for $100. Do you want the same setup I'm doing lights up when the car is on and turn signal in it? Then I need to know what color you want it? It will take me about 3 weeks that's how long the light system setup takes to be shipped

I just might have to ditch my own custom fender badges, and order up a set of the 2013 +'s myself and send them to you for modification.

I've been hooked since your 1st post, and am just amazed at how well these have turned out.
