Whose did you buy? I know Greg makes them and sells them, and he is the last person that would send out shotty products.

I agree, It Is much easier to just tape off the lettering and spray em. Looks a lot better too.

Good luck

i got them off of ebay, but they sent me a card for www.buildageneralle.com ........regardless of where they are from, i personally think they are a pos and a waste of time to put them on.

you may like them along with others, but i dont.

I agree completely. I bought the same set from the same people. They are almost impossbile to put on. Unless you have a 2 year old put them on for you. I wasted $15 for a stupid and useless product.

u got lucky, i paid $22 for em, i could have spent like 3 bucks and bought a can of spray paint or some touch up paint, and had enough money left over for a tank of gas and a car wash.

I got mine from www.bobwhitedecals.com , and while they took a while to put on, they've stayed on through multiple car washes, and they look great. Nothing beats reflective SHO lettering!

I went to Walmart and bought a roll of silver reflective tape. I didn't think anything of it then, but when I went to put it on, its the same exact color of the car! It blends in perfectly and you can't even tell its there during the day, but at night it glows and looks awesome. I just cleaned the body lettering real good with some alcohol, then held the strip of tape up to each letter and cut off a piece of tape as wide as that part of the letter. I used scissors to cut tiny strips of the tape off length-wise, then pressed them in with my fingernail. I guess you could use a q-tip or a toothpick or something instead. Then I used a razor blade to cut any excess off the edges. The whole thing (the bumper) took me about 20-30 minutes. Its been on there for almost a year now and not one strip has peeled out.

I had Bob White's on the 95 (lasted over a year, installed at 20 degrees in February, on a dirty bumper. Never a peel problem.

I also got in a set of Greg's, and they looked really nice (I liked Greg's better, actually, but never got a chance to install them before the SHO's demise).

Must be the vendor. Sorry you didn't get a quality product. Perhaps you should post a vendor-specific thread in the Vendor Feedback area. Thanks for letting us all know!

Chris Reina's car looks awesome with them painted. I think it'd depend on what was used to paint it with. I've seen good jobs and I've seen bad jobs. Unfortunately for us Gen 1 owners there's no real good alternative for fills. But we manage.
