left rear window will not go down

all other windows go down, i took the door panel off and checked it out, made sure switches were all good, i am just puzzled still.

While you have the panel off, check with either a test light or Digital VOM (volt/ohm meter) for power at the motor while pressing the switch to the down position. IIRC the switch reverses polarity for the up function of the motor. This test will determine whether the motor is faulty or the problem lies in another component or wire. Good luck :thumb:.

i'd reccomend a new motor
i had a similar problem, the previous owner greased it up - and dirt got into the grease, causing it to become a paste-like substance that locked the motor up

it could also be the teeth may be stripped out on the motor

or that the window isn't "meshed" with the motor
