LED 3rd brake light for the Gen 3 SHO

I noticed that the G4 Taurus has an 3rd brake light on the inside of the car that is an LED. Would it be hard to swap out the regular 3rd brake light in the G3 SHO for the G4 LED 3rd brake light. Keep in mind Im not talking about a spoiler LED. The G4's have an LED 3rd brake light on the inside.

It's not hard to remove the 3rd brake light. Remove the back seat, take a C pillar trim panel off, remove the shelf liner and then the light. Don't know if the Gen 4 light will fit or how it is secured though.

Ya know, i dont think it would look any better really... You should try and add the 3rd to the top of the rear window, but on the inside... like a LED bar...

I have the amber turn signals wired as brake lights and use 50 watt bulbs in them. With the larger light element the ambers will "fade" slower than the red lights. And the amber lights really get the attention of those behind you.

Paul - you have both the red brake lights and the amber turn signals showing when you do the brakes?

Thats a cool idea - but I would like to get the all red lenses and have the entire thing light up red, and flash - I think Kirk did this to his g3
