Hi, ya know, im always on this site looking thru all the threads getting buttloads of info and using it, and my car and myself are loving it, I need to ask a question, I have a stock 2019 and its got 63k, my intercooler pipe plastic clamp between the throttle body and the map sensor is leaking oil on my valve cover. At first I thought it was a Crack in the valve cover, as I have a 2016 se with a leak in the corner. Its the plastic clamp. Its loaded with oil, even dripping underneath. I plan on getting different pipes soon, but in the meantime, can I slice the plastic clamp off and use a "Spectre Performance" 3" T clamp i picked up at Autozone? Or would it not be enough pressure or I accidentally Crack the plastic tube? Im super sorry that seemed to take me forever.

Awesome! She was whining when I got off the gas at about 2-3k, the shifting in particular was alittle busy, plastic clamp was oily and oil blowby dripping from it, I cut it off with a mini hacksaw and put the t bolt clamp on, its like night and day! This car is literally, brand new! I can believe a tiny boost leak like that would give such a performance hit!

I bought it with 40k and it always made a funny noise when I got off the gas, I cleaned everything, took off the blow off valves, shook them around and put them back, funny noise, just dissipated, but looking at the clamp, it was so bad, I cut it off, now it drives better than ever. Im at 63k
