So besides the flexpipe being bad (replaced) the cat in front of it (on the Y-pipe, right bank) is leaking exhaust out of all the openings of the heat shield. So im guessing theres a leak on the cat body.

Now I went to a shop and they said they can cut out the old cat and weld on a new one for $150. ShoSource has a cat for $80 but no real part number so I can't look for cheaper cats. Can you guys help out here?

It you want to replace the entire y-pipe...AdvanceAutoParts sells the Magnaflo stainless steel catted y-pipe (#Part No: 23533) for $385.99. Enter promo code MA20 for $20 discount bringing delivered price down to $335.99.

If you remove the y-pipe and pry off the heat shields (use care so you can re-install), you can see how bad the leak(s) is/are. If they are just some pinhole leaks, you can probably braze them and be back in business. Otherwise $150 for parts/labor to replace a cat isn't bad either.
