I'm going to have to be working on the 23rd. We're kind of planning a BBQ here at my house. Looking like its going to be Mid-September-ish. The two weekends we could have used in August, one is Tony's BBQ, and then two weeks later.

We'll make an official post once we get a date set so everyone can plan.
Whats better for everyone, Saturday or Sunday?

I won't be able to make a 23rd meet, because I too have to work but I'm all for car meets. I would like a drag day or something of that nature, but hanging out is cool too.

Tony's BBQ I will be there but not in the SHO.

How about somebody talking to a Hot Dog place about space for 12 cars for 3 hours or so. Just to make sure we don't meet at a place that's packed, and it's cool. Tell them we're old farts, are real nice to ours cars if they seem worried. We'll all eat, hang out for a while, maybe do a 60k or cam weld, then leave in a cloud of smoke for *******. (oYo)

They charge you to park in the lot if your not a customer.
They will tow you.

Don't gotta park there, we could meet up, sit in the cars for a bit, drive up and down lake shore drive, sounds like a *** old time.

I usually avoid Downtown due to riding the clutch in traffic sux.
I always avoid a "*** old time" unless it's FREE Cubs tickets with parking pass. lol

You can completly avoid downtown traffic at night by taking Lake Shore all the way north and then just heading west for Wrigley.

I, personally, wouldn't be up for a in-chicago meet unless we have a private lot to park in and BS.

Agreed 100%

The point of the meet isnt just to BS, but to actually find some open road to enjoy our cars.
