Ok, the sho needs a new knuckle. The lower caliper bolt on the passenger just spins. So my question to you is as follows:

Can i use any Taurus from 92-95 or do i need to buy this thing new because it doesn't look like any parts store carries this part.

Couple ppl from Lincoln say i can, i just want to double check before i spend a day at the local yard....

I think...

This is incorrect.

If you have a 93, look for a 90-93 spindle with the ABS sensor attached. If you want to do a 96 upgrade (or even a 94-95 upgrade and save the 96 for later), look for 94-95 spindles and front brakes.

However, I don't understand your problem. The bolt is going to spin unless you hold it with a wrench on the other side while torquing or untorquing the nut.

This is the correct information.
The key is the ABS sensor.
It can come on another SHO, a Taurus or Sable that had the rear disk and ABS option. I think there was a one or two years a Lincoln would work.
If you are thinking of doing any brake upgrades in the future, this is the time to install 94-95 Knuckles with brakes.

Instead of removing the knuckle is there a way to get that bolt to stay in place. like tap a new thread or take it to a brake shop and have then fix it!! :)

I'd heli-coil it, its not very hard at all. If you can use a drill and a tap set, you can do it. I have to do it all the time at work on Dodge products IE: Dakota, Caravan, etc

Ok. so after i watched a few vids this is what i came up with.

Drill teh hole to make it bigger, tap the hole so the heli-coil threads in, thread heli coil in, break off end piece, thread bolt in...

Can, should i use this on the shifter stabilizer instead of just taping it.. I bought a 12 x 1.5 mill tap today 4 it.. matches up with the hole well.. didnt thread it in yet tho..

on the 10" front brakes there isn't much extra metal around that hole, I would pass on the heli-coil and get a good used knuckle. as stated, now would be a good time for a 96 upgrade
