Ok, I got my koni intraxx setup fully installed in the front and back. For some terrible reason, the rear sit lower then the front. Can anyone tell me what happened, or at least what can be done to fix this problem. :help:

How low is it because most intrax equiped cars seem to have this issue.

I'll have to get some pics posted. I think the rear looks great, to me it just seems like the front didn't drop at all, but maybe it's my imagination.

The rear wheel wells are lower to begin with too, don't forget that.

Depending on how great the difference, is it possible that you mistakenly installed the rear struts up front and visa-versa?

When we installed my Koni/Intrax setup the rear was a little low too. We scribed a line onto each rear strut housing right at the top of the knuckles and using those lines as a guide from which to measure, simply raised the strut housings in the knuckles approximately an inch or so on each side.

I was a little leary about raising them as I couldn't picture the knuckles maintaining full contact with the strut housings, but as it turned out there is plenty of strut housing left at the bottom of the knuckle so structurally my concern was unwarranted.

Should only take you a minute, as the pinch bolt should be easy to work with since you just had it apart.

Good luck!

Exactly like that Niki Nuckles. I purchased and installed the fron at a different time then the rear, so it's not possible to have swopped them by accident. I'll try that knuckle -strut adjustment.
