I don't know when the Koni's were installed. Since it was the third previous person who owned the car who installed them. I do know that it has been atleast 6000 miles since they were installed. The history is as follows. Some guy in Illinois had the car. Probably second owner. He had a problem with over heating. He took it to a ford dealer, and they said it needed new heads. They barely looked at the car. Kinda of disturbing there huh?!?! Don't know what dealership, but it was in the naperville/aurora area. Anyways, Well the guy paid the diagnosis fee, and towed the car away. It sat... in pieces, for a while. A master ford tech in springfield bought the car. Put it back together, and found out that the thermostat was put in backwards. Fixed the overheating. He did the 60k and a bunch of other stuff. Then sold it since it was just sitting in his drive way. My buddy at Joe Madden Ford bought and then sold it to me. Don't know what other type of history this car has, since I don't know anyone else who's owned it. Anyways, to make a long story short, I've got it, its a great looking ride. And it drives really nice. Couple of minor problems, and one major problem. BUT I have a brand new 1-2 synchro to fix the major problem. So yeah, I might just email Koni of America just to make sure that there are stops on the adjustment knobs so I don't wind up unscrewing the whole thing, and messing it all up. Anywho, if anyone knows for sure the answer to my original question, feel free to pipe up. Later on folks!!! thumb
